It would be smart to address the things that seem to bothering alot of people. As someone who has been in several top private server guilds and someone who always has a word when people bring up Kronos the thing that they seem to be most pissed about is how BWL is 1.12 values (easier then other servers basically), same with aq40. You could probably make the case that by disabling chartrade & namechange BUT keeping the mounts & pets could end up earning you more money because of all the extra players that would be joining. But if character trading and name changing stays then there wont be nearly as many players comming. If done right K3 will absorb all of these people and many others in preparation for Blizzards release of Classic servers. Anathema is done, K1 is done, Ely is over half-way done but people are unhappy with what happend. I'm not surprised that you are against it, you are one of the people that make kronos great, a real GM. Second client DC has been addressed to a certain degree, and we're taking more proactive steps with K3 to further ensure fair play. I will go down swinging to ensure this isn't a part of K3, or die trying.
Unfortunately that call belongs to Twinstar, not us Admins. Many of us are working hard to advocate that these are not a part of K3. There are numerous staff (myself included) who do not like the character auction (not because it's "p2w, because it's not p2w) and vanity store (or cross faction mounts to be more specific), this is no secret. And as always been our policy, characters acquired through trade or auction are in "as is" condition and are not eligible for restores or resets (the furthest we as staff go is to restore raid attunement if lost, i.e: Ony neck). They vendor everything they can for gold before getting rid of the toon. In a few cases they may have decent gear, but in most cases players actually trade/auction their toons virtually naked. One of the common misconceptions is that characters on the trade/auction are geared. Sick and bored of playing a hunter, but want to try Priest? boom. However, the flip side is that it also keeps some players interested in playing.
